Omari Malik

Omari Malik was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Like any great superhero story, Malik’s story is one of both tragedy and triumph. After losing his father at 7 years old, Malik turned comic books and music as an outlet. At 17 years old, Malik moved to New York City to attend college with less than $200 to his name. Malik would go on to graduate with both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. From there, Malik entered corporate America, but was unsatisfied. This lack of fulfillment led to Malik founding BlackTooth Publishing and pursuing a career as a writer.
