A panel discussion with comics scholars and creators to talk about how comics have woven themselves into contemporary society through TV, movies, fashion, and literature. Through more diverse voices in comics can lead to more diverse voices heard in popular culture.

Women Make Comics

How is the hero archetype changed when the storyteller is a woman? Would Wonder Woman beat Superman in a fight? This panel will discuss and analyze questions like these and explore how female creators and characters build and enrich the comic landscape.
