Maya Escobar

Maya Escobar is a cartoonist, illustrator and children’s librarian from Massachusetts. She received her MFA from the Center for Cartoon Studies in May 2023. Her work has appeared in The Gutter and I Don’t Do Comics. She has exhibited at the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, the Boston Comics In Color Festival, and Small Press Expo. Maya teaches comics workshops for kids and works on comics about old ladies and Kirby.
