Naseed Gifted, creator and writer of P.B.Soldier, is a two-time Glyph Comic Awards and Urban Action Showcase nominee, an educator, engineer, and writer. He studied at New Jersey Institute of Technology, St. Peter’s University, and NYU. Something that was once a childhood hobby has since catapulted into a passion to change the face of comics. His mission in his graphic expression is to encompass a distinct balance between unprecedented storytelling and exceptional artwork. He is also the founder of New Jersey’s Black Comic Book Festival “Khem Comic Fest” and travels around the country as a panelist for Full Spectrum: Why Color in Comics Matters and Using Comics to teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Featured in Black Enterprise, NBC, Huffington Post, Bleeding Cool, and Salon.com. Gifted recently launched & funded a Kickstarter campaign for the 6th installment of P.B.Soldier Episode 3.0 that focuses on STEM. Published works include a self-published sci-fi comic book series: P.B.Soldier & Jazen; Short stories: Occupy Renaissance City and Terrorist Act of 2011; and Director/Writer for the short film P.B.Soldier: The Awakening and the animated short P.B.Soldier. Naseed participated in several speaking engagements and workshops at New York Comic Con, American Library Association, New Jersey Education Association, C2E2, New Jersey Institute of Technology, New York University, University of Connecticut, and Awesome Con.
