JAMES III

JAMES III is a writer, actor, and director from Akron, Ohio. He is the co-writer of the recent Disney’s STITCH comic series, DUCKTALES VALENTINE’S DAY one-shot, as well as the writer of POWERPUFF GIRLS SUPERVILLAIN SUMMER SPECTACULAR, all for Dynamite Entertainment. Other credits include writing for GOOD BURGER 2, FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: A NEW WISH, and the ALL THAT reboot, appearing in ABBOTT ELEMENTARY, BIG MOUTH, and BLACK MIRROR, and writing comics for Archie and Papercutz. His directorial debut short film, DAY OF THE DAD, premiered at Nightmares Film Festival 2025 where it was nominated for Best Horror Comedy Short and James received a Best Lead Performance nomination.
With his comedy partners, James co-created, co-executive produced, and starred in Netflix’s ASTRONOMY CLUB: THE SKETCH SHOW produced by Kenya Barris and co-hosts the podcast BLACK MEN CAN’T JUMP [IN HOLLYWOOD] which has been featured on Good Morning America, Time, and Forbes. James is the founder of the comic book and media production company, Rule of III, Inc.
