Afua Richardson

Afua Njoki Richardson is an Eisner award-winning, African American comic book illustrator, best known for her vibrant works in Marvel’s Spiderman Across the Spiderverse, X-Men, Black Panther World of Wakanda, and HBO’s Lovecraft Country. For over two decades, she’s been a force in the comic book industry as a writer, illustrator, lector, and mentor for many aspiring artists. Afua is also a musician, voice actor, and performer.
