Born and raised in Lowell, Ma from Liberian (West African) refugee parents, Sam Stevquoah has had an insatiable urge to create stories. This skill would eventually lead him to attain his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation in 2010 from Mount Ida College in Newton, Ma. Sam has since formed his own production studio (Active Fantasy Productions) based in Lowell, Ma, and has gone on to direct animated trailers, publish numerous comics, and launch an online shop store filled with various products for the studios’ flagship project, “Mill City’s Finest (MCF).” Sam hopes to use his talents to pay homage to his hometown and culture, and inspire other aspiring creators to have confidence in their ideas.
